For those of you who have never been hiking I would like to say …you are missing a great life experience. There is no better feeling of freedom and fun way to keep in shape as hiking. At first it may seem tough to know exactly where to begin but once you hit the trails and meet other hikers you will learn the ropes very quickly.

Hooray, subversion

We use it at work for our configuration management - because it’s free! I’ve previously used ClearCase (not free) which is very powerful but also has drawbacks. Just like subversion is missing some useful features….

However, as with any tool, once you’ve learned how to use it, it can be quite powerful

Let me know if you have any “How do you…?” questions for SVN, because I possibly already know

The trouble here is that I can’t see the location/URL on the page in Firefox - to see it, the advice is to change preferences by going to the location bar and then ‘about config’ - but as I can’t see the location…………can’t be done.

Any advice??

That stinks, I hate being sick, especially when you have a hike planned. That’s a good idea for a bumper sticker though.

Thanks for the pointer. Hiding the URL is, IMO, pretty irresponsible if the browser isn’t running in kiosk mode.

Gmail have just added IMAP service for free and if you want you can use google apps for your mail domain hosting. go to http://www.google.com/a it is a great tool. I have just setup mine and really enjoy it.
