THX! This worked GREAT. Now when I click one of those ‘tell me more’ type of windows, I can see where the heck it is originating from .
Wonderful.
P.S. for those who do not know how to apply this kind of hidden parameter setting: Type the phrase “about:config” right into the FireFox url address bar, as if going to a website.
press return and you will be presented with a huge long list of parameters. then scroll down to find the dom.disable_window_open_feature.location one and double click it.

The trouble here is that I can’t see the location/URL on the page in Firefox – to see it, the advice is to change preferences by going to the location bar and then ‘about config’ – but as I can’t see the location…………can’t be done.

Any advice??

Thanks for the pointer. Hiding the URL is, IMO, pretty irresponsible if the browser isn’t running in kiosk mode.
